Intermittent Fasting

I have decided to share my story of weigh loss. It has been a grueling road trying to figure out what works best for me.

For years, I have jumped on the bandwagon of the low fat diet. While I watched my fat intake and enjoyed grains, fruits and stayed within a proper portion control, the weight would not move immensely.

I exercised and ate well and did what I thought would work. I have PCOS and for those of us that have this disease weight loss is laborious and hard.

A few months ago I was introduced to a new way of eating. It included Intermittent Fasting. While I had heard of this way of eating I didn’t really believe that it was sustainable and/or doable in the long run.

Boy! was I wrong. I have been following the Eat Like a Bear group and enjoying some really big salads. This has been the first time that I have not exercised to death and lost weight. I have been following it for 3 months now and down 40 lbs. It is incredible. Thanks to the founder Amanda Rose who also struggled with her weight and lost 100lbs in just 24 weeks. I decided to join the group.

This has been a very successful and sustainable way of eating and I applaud this so very much. If you are overweight and have been struggling for years please look into Intermittent fasting and better yet, into the Eat Like a Bear group founded by Amanda Rose. She is also in the Woman’s World Magazine as a feature this month. Don’t let the burden of weight get you down. This is a wonderful caring group and I am so happy to have discovered this.
